Legacy Society

Members of the GAI Legacy Society donate or pledge a minimum of $5,000, or have remembered the GAI in their estate plan. Donors may choose to allocate their gift to one or a combination of the following four funds:

  • Haus & Grounds: for future and current building projects
  • Education: for scholarships, grants, and support of German language programs
  • Operations & Cultural Programming: for cultural programming and daily operations
  • Endowment: for long-term growth of principal

Legacy Society members are recognized with an engraved leaf on the GAI Legacy Tree in the foyer of the Haus and may choose to have their gift memorialized in honor of a loved one or special occasion. Additionally, members receive special invitations and complimentary tickets to various events throughout the year.

Legacy Society members who join at $10,000 or more are acknowledged with an engraved gold leaf on the GAI Legacy Tree, a lifetime GAI membership, and additional benefits.
