It's time for Glühwein!

GAI Annual Holiday Open Haus

Saturday, Dec. 6: Noon-5 pm

Ratskeller open until 10 pm for after-hours sing-along, trivia competition, German food and drinks

Sunday, Dec 7: 11am-3 pm 

St. Nikolaus visitation on Sunday only. Free Adventskalendar while supplies last.

Join us for an expanded two-day Holiday Open Haus this year. Both days will showcase the Haus, decorated for the season, and will feature German and local vendors, outdoor food and drink huts, German Model Trains, and the authentic, hausgemachte favorites you've come to expect at the GAI.

Saturday:
Open Haus, Noon-5pm
After hours in the Ratskeller, 5-10pm

Saturday ONLY, take free tours of the GAI's historic Haus and enjoy live demonstrations throughout the day. Demonstrations include making German paper stars, yarn spinning, sausage making, and researching your family tree with the Germanic Genealogy Society of Minnesota. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the GAI's language classes, clubs, and membership opportunities, as well as language camps and workshops at Concordia Language Villages.

After the vendors close, join us in the Ratskeller for an evening of singing carols, trivia, and a limited holiday menu.

Sunday:
Open Haus & Nikolaustag, 11am-3pm

The Open Haus food and festivities continue on Sunday, with the addition of St. Nikolaus.

Sunday ONLY, bring the Kinder to visit St. Nikolaus, receive a free Adventskalendar (while supplies last), and do crafts with Kinderstube German Immersion Preschool.
