Teachers for Adult Classes and Tutors

The GAI contracts instructors throughout the year both for on-site courses and tutoring. Instructors must be native or native-like speakers who can provide evidence of successful language teaching experience and/or training. All instructors must have a valid US work permit.

Teachers for Children’s Classes

Samstagsschule

The GAI accepts applications for teachers for Samstagsschule throughout the year. Teachers must be native or native-like speakers with experience teaching language to elementary-aged children. Applicants selected for a position must be available for at least 9 of the 10 Saturday mornings of the fall semester, and 10 of the 12 Saturday mornings of the spring semester.

Kinderstube Pre-School & Kinderclub

The GAI offers full and part-time positions with the Kinderstube German Immersion pre-school, and Kinderclub school-age program. Teachers must be native or native-like speakers with experience teaching or supervising children. Candidates with a background in Early Childhood Education are especially encouraged to apply.
